Construction Updates

NOTICE - Intendencia St intersection will be closed starting April 7 to allow the paver installation to begin. Romana St intersection will be closed temporarily, pedestrians should temporarily use the Garden St crosswalk, mid-block crossing at Romana St, or the Government St intersection.

Week 11 Update - Paver and landscape installation continue, asphalt installation is beginning. Intersections will receive asphalt to be replaced later by pavers.

NOTICE- Romana Street intersection will have a modified crosswalk as asphalt install begins.

Week 4 Update - Demolition is complete, ECUA water line and stormwater infrastructure installation continues, curb forms being installed on north end for hardscape installation.

1/27/26 - Intendencia Street intersection closed for ECUA water line replacement. Water line replacement has been completed at all other intersections.

1/15/26 - Romana Street intersection closed overnight, should reopen mid-day 1/16/26.

Limited pedestrian access to intersections; Romana, Government, & Zarragossa Street intersections will be closed intermittently while ECUA installs water pipe. Intendencia Street will be closed intermittently during construction, as it is the only intersection capable of accommodating large trucks.
